Today, for my inspiration I'm listening to the Door's "Light My Fire". As a matter of fact, why don't you play a vinyl today, and kids, ask your parents to put the record on for you if you have no clue on how to set it up. On to today's little fiasco ;-).
As I sit in my igloo today, all these pesky snow trucks have plowed the streets, and plugged up my driveway, so escape is impossible. So, this brings up the eternal question, "Okay, I've played all the games I have, now what do I do?"
One of my favorite little projects to do, is to make a "house of cards" with your NES carts. Oh, sure it may sound a little pointless first, but consider the fact that carts a perfectly square, and can stack up pretty quickly. My record cart tower was 6 stories high, and used all of my games (at the time).
Another really fun thing to do is in-game 'video challenges'. If you check OSG's site, he has a section with several challenges. One challenge you could do is see how far you can get without doing, say, a right-handed uppercut. One of my favorite activities to do is play Super Mario Brothers (the first one, preferbly), and use the funkiest controller you've got (the Zapper won't work. I already tried). For instance, with an NES Advantage joystick, I got as far as 8-1. You can do this with any game!
-USER TESTIMONY Hi, BPZ Again I decided to take up Tod's idea and play Marble Madness with a couple of twisted controllers: And I almost beat the game, TWICE!!!!!(Playing with the double QuickShots is a REAL test of skill)
