Today's inspiration is "No Rain" from Blind Melon. A song that makes me feel like I'm high, minus the marijuana.

Today we'll make personal game-pads. By personal, I mean that each controller has a color or design that is unique from the others.

If you want only a single color, just use spray paint. It's quick and isn't too messy. Maybe you'll want to cover the wire with colored electrical tape, too.

There's a chance you'll want a design that shows a little more flair. Use small, thin brushes, and tempera paints. Be careful not to let the paint seep into the electriacal parts inside the controller, so only use little amounts of paint while creating. A side note though, don't put paint on the buttons if you don't want paint all over your hands while playing (the sweat from long sessions will moisten the by-then dry paint).

The one main advantage of having a personal controller is that if you are in the middle of a four player game, and everybody puts down their controllers, you'll still be able to distinguish your controller.

Happy gaming!
