Ah, welcome, As I write to you now, I'm listening to Beck's "Loser". Just thought you might want to know where I get my inspiration...

Now on to today's intellectually stimulating conversation topic. It is on the mind of every Nintendo collector. How can I apply a sort of Feng Shui (pronounced "fung-shway", it is a Chinese concept of moving objects in order to live healthier, happier, and better) to my Nintendo in order so more positive ch'i (the life force) flows through it, and me. That way, I can play better, and get higher scores and become more enriched with the culture of the NES.

Okay, first thing you want to do is look at the the position the NES takes on the TV. If it is on top of the TV, it has a more domineering feel to it, and it may feel as if it controls you, not vice versa. If it is below the TV set, or next to it, you should have the sensation that you are now on a level playing field.

If the hatch, or the tiny door of the Nintendo is down, it may give the impression that you are "shut out". Open the door of the NES, and the positive ch'i will spew forth from the miracle machine of yours.

One more thing you should do is make sure they're are plenty of games surrounding your NES, as to give company that beautiful, bountiful feeling.

The last thing you should probably consider is having different systems next to your NES. This gives the entire room (yes, the entire room!) a feeling of tension, and can make gamer's feel agitated. So the best solution, is to put the Nintendo in a higher position than the other system. To help out, either put those double games you've meant to sell on eBay to good use, and make a cool pyramid, that gives good vibes and makes the gamer feel dominant and confident. Or, if you want to look intelligent, use those good books that you never read (I personally recommend Grapes of Wrath. Trust me here, and put that crappy book to work!) and stack them to give a comfortable platform to your NES.
